I for one would very much welcome a forum feature that would allow me to mute certain forum sections (politics & current affairs, I'm looking at you), and forum members actually posting their remarks and rants on politics and politicians in the appropriate section.
I'm here for the JW related stuff, and quite tired of all the conversations and rants about (mostly USA) politics.
Would love to be able to skip that content when looking at the 'hottest' and 'latest' posts...

Here (The Netherlands) no meetings or FS. Circuit assemblies are canceled for the whole service year.
Congregations are now starting up try outs with Zoom (video calling).
Oh and yesterday the government announced that people aren't allowed to welcome more than 3 visitors in their homes, and all festivals, events, gatherings are now forbidden (before only events with 100+ people were forbidden) until June.
This means that the Memorial cannot even take place in field service groups.
over at jw talk they're saying because they're having to hold the upcoming memorial at home, they dont need to actually have the emblems.
apparently, listening to or watching the talk is the thing that counts.. "do this in rememberence of me" apparently means watching tony morris on your phone give a talk.. this begs the question... "what's the point?

Probably a case of dumb elders who can't follow instructions.
The whole 'bring the emblems to a person who really can be in the meeting' is only to be done for the anointed.

Letter 1: all circuit assemblies cancelled until end of May. Also visit of HQ representative cancelled.
Letter 2: if possible, coming together for meetings is best. If not possible, wise or allowed, use Skype or Zoom to have local meetings, or meet in small groups. JW stream is to be used as a last resort only. (This is the same letter as the English one that leaked recently)
